Education

In the region of Kithatu there is a bush school with 700 children in attendance. Not all the children willing to learn can attend school due to certain obligatory fees pertaining to running it. Presently, with the new government, the school is "free", but fees, like exam fee, from which no student is exempt, have replaced previous charges. Children attend school in uniforms, but barefoot. Children are sent home if fee is not paid and are not allowed to take exams, necessary to advance to the next grade. For that reason children are behind and eventually give up education.
